Slowly we have been won over to the 2019-20 FCB blaugrana checkerboard, quite a drastic diversion from the almost total consistent verticality of previous kits. The marketing of the checkerboard sealed the deal and won over the hearts and minds of the Barcelona faithful and this new kit now shines brightly in its matriotic glory.
One thing that hasn’t won us over, however, is the lack of the Femení kits available at FCB stores throughout Barcelona in the lead up to the World Cup in June and Season 2019-20. The styling of the women’s section in the Camp Nou megastore also rubbed salt into the wounds by simply turning a men’s kit into a dress and selling it as the female option. The belt was authentic Barça though, thankfully.
They definitely put the CÚL in cule.
